Are the job offers on the homepage always current?

Yes. We always keep our job offers up-to-date. When jobs are filled, they are promptly removed from the list of vacancies.

Which documents do I need to apply at PWO?

  • Cover letter
  • Resume (photo is optional)
  • The last relevant School diplomas and work references
  • Test results and other certificates, if available

Can I submit an unsolicited application?

Yes. Please simply send your application to our Career Portal.  And don´t forget to specify which area(s) you are interested in.

When can I expect a response to my application?

As soon as we have received your application, we will send you a confirmation of receipt. Applications sent to us in hardcopy will be returned to you and processed in digital form. We do need time to check your application. However, if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks, please do not hesitate to follow up on your application by contacting us.

Is it possible to do a pupil internship?

No, due to the current situation. 

When does the application process for apprenticeship and dual study positions at PWO begin?

The application process begins in May of the previous year of the planned start of training. Timely application increases the chances of obtaining the desired training place/study in the desired company, as the desired position may not yet be filled. You can find the current vacancies on our homepage.

What significance do school grades have when applying for an apprenticeship or study place?

School grades are important, especially in those subjects that are relevant for vocational training or dual studies. In addition, it is also important for us to get to know you as a person with your talents and abilities.

How does the application process work in times of Covid-19?

We conduct our job interviews by telephone and/or in compliance with the hygiene and distance regulations at PWO. Therefore, we would ask you to wear a mouth-and-nose protection when entering the building and to fill in the corona information prepared for you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
