PWO receives the World Excellence Award for
outstanding performance

Oberkirch, June 1, 2015 - Progress-Werk Oberkirch AG received the World Excellence Award in the "Gold" category for outstanding performance from its customer the FORD Motor Company (Dearborn, USA). This is the most prestigious award given by FORD to its suppliers. Only ten other suppliers worldwide received a similar award in the current year. PWO is supplying FORD with instrument panel cross members in Europe and North America.

Dr. Volker Simon, Speaker of the Management Board, who accepted the trophy at the award ceremony, is delighted to receive this special award: "It is both an honor and an endorsement to belong to the best suppliers worldwide. We thank FORD for its trust in PWO and extend our appreciation to our employees for their extraordinary dedication."

For Dr. Winfried Blümel, member of the Management Board responsible for the areas of Production and Materials, sees the FORD award as further recognition for PWO's efforts in efficiency and process expertise for increased automobile safety and comfort.
