At PWO, the reduction of our environmental impact to a minimum has been at the heart of corporate activities for many years both through the efficient use of raw materials and energy and through the reduction of emissions. Supported by an environmental management system, we can systematically monitor and assess all our environment-related processes. In this way, many of our investments in environmental protection also provide a medium- or long-term economic benefit.

As early as 1996, PWO has a certified environmental management system In July 2001, our production site in Oberkirch gained accreditation under the internationally recognised DIN EN ISO 14001 environmental management system - an important step that accompanied the gearing up of our global activities.
