Housing for electric-window motor

Housings for electronic control systems

Vehicle operation is increasingly controlled by electronics, and the number of control systems in use is growing rapidly. In order to protect these systems from outside conditions, conduct away the heat generated in an efficient manner and provide a shield against potentially damaging radiation from other sources, our metal housings have to meet the highest possible requirements.

PWO has the expertise. We develop housings for electronic control systems and use the latest processes to ensure high-quality production.

Motor housings

Nowadays, PWO produces over 100 million motor housings per year. ABS is included as a standard feature in modern vehicles. ESP/ASR systems contribute to even greater driving safety. A key element of all these developments is a hydraulic system operated by an electric motor. Steering, braking and even the engine cooling process are increasingly activated by electric motors. In many cases, convenient electrically-operated windows, seat adjusters and sun roofs are now part of the basic vehicle design. All windscreen wiper units work using electric systems. Complex and intricately designed precision housings are needed to ensure the safe operation of such components.

PWO has the expertise. We develop motor housings and sub-assemblies, including shafts, magnets and bearings, and use the latest processes to ensure high-quality production.
