Automobile markets without limitations

Here in Oberkirch, in the Baden region of southwest Germany, we have been aware for many years that automobile markets operate without borders, which is why we took early action to prepare ourselves. We have remained faithful to our German location for over 85 years in an area marked by fruit trees and vineyards, by German precision and French savoir vivre. As long ago as the early 1990s we began to look further afield, and since then we have established additional production facilities around the world ? initially through partnership agreements and then in the form of our own factories. A successful acquisition in Canada in 1997 was followed over the next few years by the launch of our own plants in the Czech Republic, Mexico and China ? marking PWO out as a progressive, cosmopolitan and innovative force in the industry. Nevertheless, despite our global presence, which we intend to maintain in the future, we know where our roots lie: here in Baden, in Oberkirch, where our success story began and from where we will continue to play our part in the global market.
