Development and manufacture of high-end metal components and subsystems for automobile safety and comfort.
1997
PWO acquires an interest in Canada's Brattan Tool Industries Ltd.
1999
Completion of full takeover of the Canadian firm - renamed PWO Canada Inc. in May 2000.
2005
Purchase of Czech firm UNITOOLS CZ a.s.; renamed PWO UNITOOLS CZ a.s. in April 2006.
2006
Joint Venture set up with Korea's TAE HWA Enterprise Co., LTD. based in Hong Kong with a production site in Suzhou, China.
2006
PWO buys a 60% interest in automotive supplies firm Cartec S.A. de C.V. in Puebla, Mexico in December 2006.
2008
Foundation of an own subsidiary in Suzhou, China which is trading under PWO High-Tech Metal Components (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.
2008
Completion of full takeover of the Mexican firm Cartec S.A. de C.V.; renamed PWO de México S.A. de C.V. in December 2008.
2009
Sale of the 50% share in the Chinese joint venture to the joint venture partner.
